  • Still, no Brit has won the Wimbledon Championships since Fred Perry in 1936. Andy Murray came close last month suffering an emotional loss as Roger Federer picked up his seventh title at the All England Club.
But today Murray took a big step towards overcoming that crushing defeat by taking Olympic Gold on the same centre court and this time besting Federer.
Congratulations Andy.

  • Although they lost this morning to Ukraine (in a dominant performance by UKR, 223-212), Great Britain’s archery team has a unique look. I’m especially fond of the hat.
