It didn’t take long for LeBron, D-Wade and Company to give their thoughts on why Peyton Manning should bring his talents to Miami.
From SunSentinel.com: “I’m just sayin’, Dolphins need a quarterback, and Peyton’s available.” — LeBron James
From D-Wade’s twitter account: “I’m just gonna put it out thr..peyton that number 18 wld look gr8 in a dolphins uniform..steve ross let’s go.. marlins & heat style..All in”
Even Udonis Haslem weighed in.
From the Palm Beach Post: “I’m already working on that, I’m thinking Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne. If we can work that out, we’ve got big Brandon Marshall, then we’re on our way. We got a solid defense. So, if you all hear me, Peyton and Reggie, you know what I mean, wink, wink, make it happen.”
Someone forgot to tell the Carolina Panthers defense that it’s just the preseason. Welcome to Miami, Reggie.
Did New York Jets Strength & Conditioning coach Sal Alosi purposely trip up Dolphins Nolan Carroll during a punt return?
You might say Miami Dolphins defensive end Kendall Langford has learned his lesson. At Tuesday’s Dolphins practice, Langford came wearing a pair of 2.5 carat diamond earrings valued at around $50,000 each. It wasn’t until halfway through practice that Langford realized that one of the earrings had fallen out.
“Forgot I had ‘em in”, he told reporters later, holding the earring that was missing its partner. “I’ve got a great group of guys out here helping me — family-type guys.”
And by family he means the teams public relations interns and sideline reporters, I guess that’ll teach you to bring your bling to practice?
