Today marks the birthday of former professional wrestler Andre Rene Roussimoff, better known to wrestling fans worldwide as Andre the Giant. The 7’4” 475-pound wrestler and actor was the first inductee into the WWF Hall of Fame in 1993.
TMZ is reporting that one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time Randy “Macho Man” Savage has died in a car accident after an apparent heart attack early Friday. As seen in this 1989 interview with Arsenio Hall Randy Savage was the epitome of Macho. RIP Macho Man.
From the years of 1987-2002ish I was solid wrestling fan, well there were a couple years in the early 90’s that were suspect. Anywhoo, the goal of any wrestling fan is to experience “mark out” moments like the one above which is The Rock coming back after seven years away from the ring.
